Matrox Video Products Group has announced that Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 drivers for the Matrox RT.X100 and RT.X10 Series realtime video editing platforms are now in beta testing and will be available for download from the Matrox website and included in product bundles shortly after Adobe ships Premiere Pro 1.5. New features of Matrox RT.X100 Xtreme Pro include DVCPRO support, WYSIWYG support for video output on a PAL or NTSC monitor when using Adobe Encore DVD, and new realtime filters including color match, color pass, color replace, lens warp, and time code overlay. Matrox RT.X100 Xtreme Pro will be demonstrated, in conjunction with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, here at NAB 2004 in the Matrox booth SL4031. "Our close development relationship with Adobe and extensive beta program will allow us to deliver an extremely stable and reliable driver set for the new release of Adobe Premiere Pro," said Bernard Lamborelle, Matrox director of technical marketing. "The seamless integration of the Adobe software and the Matrox RT.X100 Xtreme Pro hardware unifies and streamlines the workflow of editing video, creating motion graphics and visual effects, editing audio, and authoring DVDs. Upgrade opportunitiesAll registered owners of Matrox RT.X100 and Matrox RT.X10 Series products will be able to download the Matrox drivers for the new versions of the Adobe software free of charge from the Matrox website. Customers who purchase Matrox RT.X100 Xtreme Pro Suite, Matrox RT.X100 Xtreme Pro Collection, or Matrox RT.X10 Suite on or after March 20, 2004 are also eligible for free upgrade copies of the Adobe software that was included in their Matrox product.
