Avid Customers Dominate Emmys

Avid Technology, Inc. announced that customers using its industry-leading postproduction systems were winners in every outstanding show and editing category at the 56th Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards. In addition, many postproduction teams for these Emmy award-winning shows deployed collaborative workflows that included multiple Avid® editing, finishing, and shared-storage solutions.

"In recent years, many of us who earn a living in this business have been tempted by other systems - but in my opinion, they don’t seem to match what Avid has always delivered," said Chris Willingham, A.C.E., Emmy award-winning editor of 24.     -Samurai Jack: The Birth of Evil and Star Wars: Clone Wars (Outstanding Animated Programs)
    -The Forgetting: A Portrait of Alzheimer’s (Outstanding Nonfiction Special)
    -Elaine Stritch: At Liberty (Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Special)
