Cintiq 21UX Shipping Status Update: Letter from the Manufacturer In an effort to meet the upcoming, European, lead-free standard, the manufacturer is enhancing their production process. This process has furthered delayed the delivery of the product. Needless to say, this unforeseen change during the initial shipping of the 21UX is very frustrating for all. If there is good news in this message, it is that this LCD production process change will result in an even better quality Cintiq 21UX—that will also comply with new environmental standards for North America as well. Again, unfortunately it has added to the delay. Wacom has had a long running commitment to optimizing quality and performance of the products it develops.
