News a Safe Harbor blogTriCaster and Anycast Demonstrated at MCAI Milwaukee Meeting
In an intimate setting at Rockwell Automation on September 7, 2005, the MCAI-Milwaukee season-opening meeting was presented by Safe Harbor Computers, which hosted demo artists from Sony and NewTek who came to demonstrate their live broadcast devices, Anycast Station and TriCaster. John Botvidson from Sony and Paul Lara from NewTek capably showed the benefits of each respective unit. John showed the all-in-one, luggable-sized unit, Anycast Station, with its built-in keyboard, monitor, switcher, and audio controls. Some of the unique features he demonstrated included the VISCA-based pan-tilt-zoom camera control, the on-board audio mixer, and the ability to handle HDV video streams. It can also record video to external drives for later editing. Anycast retails for $19,500, with many options and add-ons available.
Paul Lara demonstrated the Emmy®-nominated TriCaster, which retails for $4995, with an optional $995 switcher control surface (TriCaster VM™). He explained its many features, including the integrated VCR cue functionality, its 6 hours of internal video storage, the ability to interface with a multitude of computers on the network, the simple web streaming commands, and the many preset and customizable DVEs. He also showed the NewTek iVGA™ capability of bringing in any external computer interface as a switcher source.
Both units are perfect for churches, schools, corporate meetings, concerts, and any other environment with an audience. They each can handle multiple camera and computer inputs, stream to the Internet, output to a projector, and record video for later editing. Please contact Safe Harbor to request the latest Anycast and TriCaster DVD to be mailed to you. Safe Harbor is also happy to set up a personal demonstration addressing your facilities’ needs at their in-house studio in Waukesha, WI. 0 responses to "TriCaster and Anycast Demonstrated at MCAI Milwaukee Meeting"You can use select BBCode tags to format your thoughts including: [b], [i], [s], [u], [url], [quote] and [code]. | About This BlogSafe Harbor's 3D, video and post production news blog offers you the latest announcements and updates from the industry.Newest PostsTags3D Animation 3D Plugins & Effects Accessories Accessories - Camera Adapters and Splitters Add-ons - Avid Add-ons - Edius Add-ons - Final Cut Pro Add-ons - Lightwave Add-ons - Premiere Pro Add-ons for TriCaster Adobe Adobe (Licenses) AJA Apple Atomos ATTO Technology Audio & Music Hardware Audio & Music Software Audio Libraries Avid backup Power Supplies (UPS) Bella Corporation Blackmagic Design Bluefish444 Books Breakout Boxes Cables Cache-A CalDigit Camcorders CineForm Class on Demand Computers Contour Design Control Surfaces Craft Animations Cubix Digieffects Display Cards Displays - LCD DVD and Blu-Ray Hardware Electric Crayon Studio E-on Software Expansion Chassis Firewire Cards Graphics Tablets Grass Valley G-Technology Hard Drives - External Hard Drives - RAID Hard Drives - SATA Hash, Inc.
