PNY Technologies Provides New Scalable GPU Accelerated Solutions

PNY Technologies, Inc. has announced a new family of ultra high-end graphic boards designed to handle massive datasets and specialized needs for the Visualization & Simulation, Oil & Gas exploration and Broadcast & Film markets. Included in this line-up is the new NVIDIA Quadro® FX 5500 by PNY Technologies, (available in SDI or Genlock/framelock versions), and the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 X2 by PNY Technologies (available in Genlock/framelock version).

"The world's most challenging visual computing applications require maximum GPU power in minimum space", said Craig Dunwoody, CEO, GraphStream Incorporated. "PNY's new dual-GPU FX 4500 X2 card is truly a breakthrough product, allowing GraphStream systems to support 64 ultra-high-end GPUs per rack now, and 120 per rack starting in early 2007."

The new line up includes:

  • The NVIDIA Quadro FX 5500 by PNY Technologies - features the latest ultra high end GPU and an exceptional 1GB of dedicated graphics memory.
  • The NVIDIA Quadro FX 5500 G by PNY Technologies ¡VGenlock/frame lock capabilities provide the functionality required for advanced multi-system visualization environments and multi-device film and video production workflows.
  • The NVIDIA Quadro FX 5500 SDI by PNY Technologies - delivering uncompressed SDI output in 2K, HD or SD format, this graphic board is the ultimate HD-SDI "live-to-air" Broadcast and Film solution.
  • The NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 X2 by PNY Technologies - delivers two GPUs on a single board. Applications can take advantage of the multi-GPUs to either significantly improve scaled application performance, antialiased image quality or drive multiple high resolution displays.

Designed for graphic intensive tasks the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 X2 by PNY Technologies is the first graphic board to offer quad dual link DVI display support. This allows professional users to maximize their display real estate by driving up to four ultra-high resolution 30¡¨ digital flat panels.

NVIDIA® SLI™, offered on all ultra high-end professional graphic boards, enables applications to dynamically scale performance, enhance image quality, and expand display real estate by combining multiple graphic boards in a single system.
