On September 15, 2006, Safe Harbor Computers will be holding a theater-style training class for beginning users of Avid Xpress Pro.

The four hour class will be held in Safe Harbor’s on-site production studio in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and will be taught by award-winning photojournalist Jason Hunter. Training will cover everything the beginning user needs to know.

Jason will start with the basics such as setting up your software and hardware, customizing your settings, and creating bins. He will move on to the capturing process including batch capture and importing files. He will also cover Xpress Pro’s flexible timeline, the audio tools, some editing must-know’s, and how to finish and output your project. He’ll pass along many tips and tricks that will streamline your workflow and give you the confidence and ability to create professional productions with Xpress Pro.
