The Osprey 820e continues the strong tradition of high-quality streaming performance. The latest video capture card now lets you add audio and video to a traditional graphics interface making it an ideal solution for lecture capture. This dual input card can ingest SD or HD analog video as well as VGA HDMI and DVI.

Optimized for live streaming.

Take advantage of advanced video pre-processing features such as logo/bitmap overlay with transparency and positioning controls, de-interlacing, color space conversion and closed-caption extraction and rendering. Wide screen signaling is also standard.

Multiple Streams.

The Osprey 820e also comes standard with SimulStream. This driver enhancement provides the ability to feed multiple encoding applications at the same time.

  • Video capture requires intense bandwidth across the system bus, CPU, and memory. North Bridge PCIe slots are strongly recommended.
  • Multi-core processors (4 or more) are recommended to run video applications
  • The Osprey 820e can process large amounts of video data across two inputs. It is important that the host computer has the capacity to process the video data from the Osprey 820e as well as other applications that run concurrently
  • ViewCast recommends using a PCI Express slot with direct lanes to the CPU (preferred method) or a Northbridge (IOH).

Audio input card that delivers.
The Osprey 800a audio input card provides increased flexibility with up to four stereo channels of audio. Designed to work with any of the Osprey 800 series cards, simply attach it to an Osprey 820e, 825e and 845e for improved audio performance. This audio input card also offers additional external audio inputs such as balanced, unbalanced, AES/ EBU, and SPDIF.

Increased flexibility.
With up to four stereo channels of audio, the Osprey 800a now provides greater flexibility for input audio signals. Two stereo channels of balanced audio are always available. Plus, you can configure two additional stereo channels as either unbalanced, AES/EBU, or SPDIF. (The audio card disables the unbalanced audio input on the Osprey 820e card.)

Improved audio performance.
Sound enthusiasts can now achieve greater sound output by attaching the Osprey 800a to any Osprey 800 series capture card. Osprey cards are well known for reliability and high performance and the Osprey 800a helps you get the best possible sound.
