12-bit Processing
All Bluefish444 video cards process uncompressed video frames in 12 bit - irrespective of whether the frame is an 8 bit, 10 bit, or 12 bit frame. Every RGB ? YUV color space conversion and 444 ? 422 sampling change is converted at 12 bit which is 4,096 levels of red, blue, and green per pixel versus the 1,096 levels of red, blue, and green per pixel of 10 bit processing.
