DESCRIPTION
The CalDigit VR provides configurable RAID modes with an LCD monitor that indicates RAID capacity, RAID information and environmental monitoring. With cutting edge technology, the CalDigit VR supports a variety of software applications. It is designed to connect with Mac, Linux, or Windows PC via eSATA, FireWire 400, FireWire 800, and USB 2.0 connections.

Reach the speed limit with guaranteed protection
CalDigit understands the need for high speed data transfers as well as protection. The CalDigit VR features the latest SATA 3Gb/s technology for high data transfer rates, up to 200MB/s.

Performance (RAID 0), Protected (RAID 1), or JBOD can be configured from the back panel, or via the software provided. In performance mode, the CalDigit VR can utilize 2 SATA drives with speeds of up to 200MB/s, and play back 10 bit uncompressed SD. In protected mode, the CalDigit VR provides continuous, full time protection of valuable digital content. If a hard drive should fail, the CalDigit VR will automatically rebuild your content in a short period of time.

Manage, Monitor, Modify
The CalDigit VR features an easy to read, orange backlight LCD screen, that indicates RAID capacity, RAID information and environmental monitor. It allows monitoring of system status, such as current activity, rebuilding progress, failure notification, unconfigured notification, verifying and if the CalDigit VR is unplugged. The environmental fan condition and internal temperature can also be monitored on the LCD screen. The RAID level can be easily configured on the multi-function panel. A cooler design.
