Combines 3G-SDI and HDMI Equipment for Superior Integration Options The GefenPRO 3GSDI to HDMI Scaler converts a single link or dual link SDI source to HDMI and scales it on the output. Resolutions up to 1080p and 2K with up to 8 channels of audio is supported. The built-in S/PDIF audio output can be used to send multichannel digital audio to a separate A/V receiver. This product uses the VXP scaler which provides high-performance scaling plus additional features: Cadence detection, frame rate conversion, advanced noise reduction, detail enhancement, and a fully integrated menu system. This product supports SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI SMPTE 425-A and 425-B input formats. The GefenPRO 3GSDI to HDMI Scaler provides superior 3G-SDI to HDMI conversion and scaling packaged in a single rack mount unit with an internal power supply. How It Works Connect a 3G-SDI input source to the GefenPRO 3GSDI to HDMI Scaler. Connect the HDTV display to the product using an HDMI cable. Connect a digital audio cable between the S/PDIF connector on the product and the A/V receiver. Apply power to the 3G-SDI source and HDTV display and apply power to the product. The 3G-SDI source will be converted to HDMI. Use the IR remote control unit to navigate the built-in menu system to control the scaling features on the HDMI output.
