The Rimage DL5200 is a compact disc publishing system designed for front-office applications. DiscLab's Everest III direct-to-disc printer enables users to instantly record CDs and DVDs and imprint them with waterproof, scratchproof, photo-realistic images. The Rimage DL5200 offers automated disc creation with either dual CD or CD/DVD drives, powered by Rimage's innovative interleaved data streaming technology, delivering maximized throughput.
Unlike the DLN5200, the DL5200 does not have a built-in host computer. The DL5200 uses a locally attached computer, which acts as a host PC, automates the DL5200 operation, and provides the network connectivity for all remote users. The DL5200 comes complete with all required software for both the host PC and an unlimited number of client users.

- 1.8 Ghz Pentium 4 or higher with 400Mhz Front Side Bus
- Windows 2000 Professional SP4; Windows XP Professional SP2 or higher; or Server 2003
- 256 MB ECC, DDR-200 SDRAM
- Three hard drives
- System Hard Drive (36GB SCSI 15,000 RPMs) is a basic disk containing one 4GB primary partition (C:\) and one logical drive (D:) using the remaining space.
- Source hard drive (18GB SCSI 15,000 RPMs for CD-R or use 36 GB for DVD-R) is a basic disk containing one Logical Drive (E:\) using all space (This drive is used for storing Image files.)
- Cache hard drive (18 GB SCSI 15,000 RPMs for CD-R or use 36 GB for DVD-R) is formatted as a basic disk containing one Logical Drive using all space starting with drive letter (J:\)
