16:9 Precision Technology and Wide Angle of View in 16:9 Mode
A sufficient amount of pixels are used to reproduce high resolution images in the 16:9 aspect ratio. The BRC-300's Mega Pixel CCD enables an even wider angle of view in the 16:9 mode. RS-232C or RS-422 Serial Control (VISCATM Command)
The BRC-300 camera settings and pan/tilt/zoom functions can be controlled remotely via a PC. With the RS-232C connection, maximum cable length can be extended to 15m (50 feet), while the RS-422 connection extends this further to 1200m (4000 feet). Multi-Interface Card Slot
The BRC-300 is equipped with a card slot that can accept optional interface cards. The BRC-300 can be integrated into every kind of system from S-Video to RGB, iLINKTM DVCAM interface (optional card planned to be available soon), SDI or even fiber. Various Optional Equipment
- Optical Multiplex Unit (BRU-300) this unit converts non-compressed digital raw data from a camera (with the optical multiplex card) into any video output and has two interface card slots.
- Remote Control Unit (RM-BR300) This stylish controller has a Sony ergonomic easy-to-use design and features a joystick. The control interfaces are RS-232C and RS-422 based on VISCA protocol.
- Optional Interface Cards Analog RGB/Component Card (Model # BRBK-301); Optional SDI Card (Model #BRBK-302); and Optional Multiplex Card (Model # BRBK-303). An i.LINK DVCAM output card is planned to be available shortly.
