The first pass analyzes the data; the second pass compresses the data for maximum performance based on the first-pass data profile. Block refresh for packet loss correction: Block refresh minimizes and cleans up propagated video errors when lost network packets cause dropped video frames. Media key support through secure encryption: Media key support through secure encryption provides very strong protection for your content. Compression time packetization for error resiliency to packet loss: This feature minimizes quality degradation due to lost packets by inserting recognizable patterns into the bit stream. If a packet is lost, the decoder automatically picks up at another point. Thus, the decoder doesn't have to drop a frame.
