Pat Beck and Brad Krause are two of the industry's most well-known speakers and authors, having taught a multitude of classes at various schools and trade shows. Now they've taken their training "on the road" with WaveGuide LIVE!, their new training course designed for all levels of LightWave users.
Pat Beck
Patrik Beck is a professional 3D animator and LightWave instructor in Milwaukee, WI, along with being a book author and the founding editor of Keyframe Magazine (now HDRI 3DMagazine). He brings over a decade of teaching and professional animation work to the WaveGuide series for LightWave training.
His company, Electric Crayon Studios , began offering products over a decade ago with its animated wedding clip art for the Amiga, and has since been creating animation for local industry and broadcast.
Brad Krause
Brad Krause of Radiance Media is a freelance illustrator and animator from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from UW Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1988, and spent the next 8 years in Milwaukee, strictly in the print field doing print production, graphic design and illustration at flexographic plate manufacturers, box plants, graphic design studios and advertising agencies. He has been illustrating and animating using LightWave 3D on the Macintosh for the last 7 years.
He has written articles for HDRI 3D Magazine (formerly Keyframe Magazine) and has authored a DVD for Kurv studios, "Print for LightWave Artists/LightWave for Print Artists". He will also be teaching Advanced LightWave at Milwaukee Area Technical College in the Fall of 2005.
Brad has produced 3D illustration for every market, from Mechanical and Medical to Point of Purchase, Product and Illustration, Character Animation, Special Effects, Architectural previsualization and Graphic Design, all for South Eastern Wisconsin clients.
