  • While recording, immediately playback an action that just happened
  • Select the camera for output via SDI
  • Variable playback speed
  • Playlist editor to assemble the highlights of your recording
  • Import media in your playlist to playout just about any media file
  • Supports various video devices from AJA or Blackmagic-Design
  • Supports the M|80, M|62 or M|44

M|Replay is invaluable as a replay server for video production or as an adjudication system for referees.

While recording, use on-screen controls, keyboard shortcuts, or hardware controllers to immediately playback an action that just happened. Select the camera you want to output and adjust the playback speed.

M|Replay provides a playlist editor to assemble the highlights of your recording or any other imported footage for immediate playout.

M|Replay is a software solution that runs on your Mac and with standard video devices from AJA, Blackmagic-Design or our own M|Family and it is the most flexible and affordable solution on the market.

Flexible input and output configurations
Enable the number of inputs and/or outputs you need and start working right away. The licenses are per channel, that you can use for input or output.

As you can use the video device of your choice, you can adapt to every situation depending on the need of each production. Get the number of licenses that you need and connect the device that suits you best to your Mac.

You can do instant replay with as little as one input and one output on a MacBook Pro or use high-density video devices for multiple inputs and outputs on a Mac Pro. Check out the recommended specifications.

Intuitive user interface
Simply drag and drop the inputs and outputs to the viewer you want to assign it to, or select it from the drop-down menu. The user interface accomodates for many inputs and outputs that you can arrange the way you want. And that's it, you are ready to go.

Use the on-screen controls, keyboard shortcuts or a jog shuttle to instantly go backwards on all the viewers simultaneously. Locate the important moment you want to replay, select the angle you want to show and play it back at the appropriate speed. You can even change the input while it is playing.

All that is made to be quick and easy-to-use. Everything is available at the touch of a finger and there is almost no learning curve.

Create Markers, Clips and Playlists
Create markers to instantly 'jump' to an important moment and replay it using the angle you want.

Create clips to build playlists so you can chain different moments, from different angles and at the playback speed you want. This can be very useful for creating a 'highlights' playlist for example. Prepare that playlist while the show goes on so it is ready to play at the end of the show.

You can even import video clips from the Finder to play in your playlist.

Flexible hardware configuration
M|Replay is a software that runs on any Mac with video devices from AJA, Blackmagic-Design, or our M|80, M|62, M|44 devices. The choice is yours only, depending on the number of inputs and outputs you need.

We wanted to offer you the best solution possible that can run on your Mac, and maybe with some video devices that you already own. So when you don't use the Mac as an instant replay server, you can use it to edit with your favorite editing solution, or why not record with MovieRecorder, playout with OnTheAir Video or do graphics with OnTheAir CG.

  • Mac OS Mac OS X 10.10.5 and later
  • RAM 16 GB minimum, 32 GB recommended
  • Supported Graphics Cards All are supported, no specific requirement.
  • Compatible Storage Any storage that can sustain the required constant read and write speed (depending on the number of channels). For network storage, make sure to enable Macro blocks, and disable cache flushing.
  • Requires Monitor Connected (Open GL Active) Yes Monitor needs to be connected (only for Preview, encoding works fine)
  • Number of license required One license per channel (in or out). You can use the license upon your will, either enable them for output or input, depending on what you need at the moment. So you will need 2 licenses at least (one in and one out).
  • Hardware acceleration to encode in H.264 M|Replay only records the multiple channels to ProRes. For Playout of 'external' media, H.264 decoding will be accelerated on Mac equipped with i5 and i7 processors.
